Do you prefer to edit your images with an application that isn’t a plugin for Lightroom but still want to use the Lightroom Library? If so, this tutorial is for you – in it, I demo a workaround for such a problem.

I forgot to mention two things in the video:

1.) You can manually add an app as a lightroom plugin, but this often doesn’t work – as a matter of fact, it almost never works unless that app allows itself to be a Lightroom plugin.

2.) I forgot to mention that once you create your “Working Folder” in Lightroom, you do not have to create it every time. After it’s created, you can drag and drop the images you want to edit in the external editor into that working folder on a use-as-you-need basis.
