The Photography of Wim Wenders


Inspiration tends to be the building block for someone to properly thrive with whatever endeavor their pursuing. That pursuit can range from obtaining the ideal post-college cubicle job that’s such a commonality for people to go after to someone becoming a full-time independent artist. What’s important are the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that can lead someone down the path to what they deem as being successful.

With the sentiment of inspiration in mind, above is an excellent video that discusses the photography of Wim Wenders. Although Wenders is primarily known for being a filmmaker with films such as Wings of Desire (1987) and Paris, Texas (1984), he also worked in theatre, was an author, experimented with painting, and laid the groundwork for ideas regarding identity as an artist and openness of mind.
