Polaroid is an interesting photography subject, given that not every photographer has an interest in the self-developing film realm. Still, this doesn’t take anything away from polaroid as there are countless photographers who have truly perfected the art form in creating some of the most extraordinary photographs to ever exist.
André Kertész was a Hungarian-born photographer known for his groundbreaking contributions to photographic composition and the photo essay. Kertész also had a number of excellent polaroids throughout his career. The Art of Photography did an excellent video detailing André Kertész’s polaroids, check it out!
