William Klein is one of the most prominent photographers of the 20th century, with his work spanning over several decades all the way to the modern-day, utilizing his ironic approach for photojournalism and fashion photography. Klein was also a critically acclaimed painter and filmmaker who made over twenty films, including the first-ever documentary about Muhammad Ali.
The video above takes a detailed approach to Klein’s life while giving a behind-the-scenes look at his Paris studio. Given that photographers should look to monumental figures like Klein for inspiration, I can’t recommend this video enough.
