What I LOVE & HATE About My Sony A7R4

I recently purchased a Sony A7Riv and in this video, I go over three things I love about it and three things I don’t.

Why I’m moving to Sony

I became a professional photographer in 1980 and at that time, shot with a Mamiya medium format film camera. I also used a Canon AE-1. In 2002, I bought my first digital camera — a Nikon D1H. I upgraded my Nikons over the years and in 2015, decided that they were getting too heavy when traveling, or when doing street photography, and for vacations so I purchased a Fuji X-T1 and an X100T. Most recently I purchased an X-T4.

So, I had Nikons for most of my shooting and Fuji for when I traveled or did street photography.

Now, I’m at the age where the Nikon DSLR’s are getting too heavy even for use in my studio so I want to go 100% mirrorless but, Fuji doesn’t make a full frame camera so I was thinking of just staying with Nikon. I purchased the Z6 mainly for video but it’s not bad for picture taking either. I was thinking of getting a Z7 but really, the A7Riv is simply better so, I sold all of my Fuji gear and purchase the Sony camera and I’ll be selling my Nikon gear soon too except for the Z6 — I’ll still use that for video.
