Image Blending in Photoshop

In this video, I demonstrate how to use a layer mask to blend two images in Photoshop. With the mask, we’ll blend in the sky and water from an image taken with a long exposure with the person, trees, and foreground of an image taken with a faster exposure.

Single Point Focus on back of bench
1/320sec, F8.0, iso: 64 at 24mm

10-stop ND Filter
Camera in Liveview Mode
Aperture Priority Mode
Spot Metering on back of bench
Single Point Focus on back of bench
30sec, F11.0, iso: 31 at 24mm

Having the camera in Liveview Mode allows the camera to focus more accurately when the 10-stop ND Filter is on the lens.
